I joined up with the Chookshed Stitchers 2024 Challenge for the motivation to move projects forward, and perhaps even finish a few. So far, this has been fun and very doable.
Participants publicly posted a list of 10 numbered projects. Each month a number is drawn, and the corresponding project is worked on. There are linkups where projects can be posted and participants can cheer one another on.
In January, number 6 was drawn. My number 6 was a Santa project, and you can see that post by clicking here.
In February, number 2 was drawn. I moved my 365 Monster quilt forward in progress, and that felt good. You can see that post by clicking here.
This month, March, the number 4 was drawn. You can see my full list of projects by clicking here, but my number 4 is to sew pajama bottoms.
I have had this fabric for maybe 2 years, maybe longer. Time to sew it up!
I don’t know how much of each piece of yardage that I have, but it will be enough for two pairs of pajama bottoms. I don’t bother making the tops since I prefer a plain t-shirt and they can be inexpensive to buy.
I am linking up at Dreamworthy Quilts. Come on over to see other participants!
Have fun and carry on!

Congrats on an easier challenge this month after the monster quilt last month. Those shouldn’t take long to sew up.

I am happy with the draw this month, Donna. Especially since the Hubster and I are going to visit the kids, so it will be a short sewing month for me. 🙂

Oh Laura, I have that kitty flannel fabric, too!
🙂
Do you have a pattern recommendation for the pj bottoms?

You are the best! Did you purchase that fabric at least 2 years ago? 🤣👍
I believe I am using a freebie from here:

I have had my pattern a long time, and traced the size onto freezer paper. I didn’t transfer the name of the maker to my pieces. However, I do have the above saved on my pc, so I am pretty sure this is the one. 🙂

Hey there, Kathy! Garment sewing is your forte, but I should be able to handle this. 😁

Thank you! I am not much of a garment maker, but I ought to be able to handle loose fitting comfy pj pants! 🙂

Very glad you have an easier project on for the month. Those will be terrific PJ bottoms and very nice to finish and cross off the list!
