Disappearing Nine Patch Completed

I have completed my version of the Disappearing Nine Patch from  Julie Cefalu’s Disappearing Nine Patch Quilt Along.

I decided to quilt an edge to edge called Mountain Laurel.  I am not a frame quilter, but I am so happy because I had no tension issues whatsoever!

I am also happy to have another finish!

This was a fun quilt along and it is an easy quilt to make!  Great for gift giving, or if you are looking for something to cozy up with this winter!

Lets Sew Quilt Along

Block 12 of Segment 3 of the Sew Let’s Quilt Along QAL is called Rotary Cutter and is designed by Sandy Maxfield of Sandy Star Designs.

I love this block!

Quick, easy and fun to make!

The rotary cutter must be one of the all time best inventions ever!

I no longer have a floating boo-boo on my last block.  It isn’t technically correct; the leaning bolt ought to have background on the bottom, but just imagine that the fabric has slid down the bolt, so you don’t notice.  Ha, ha!  I am done fiddling with it!

Lets Sew Quilt Along

Block 11 of Segment 3 of the Sew Let’s Quilt Along QAL is called By The Bolt and is designed by Becca Fenstermaker of Pretty Piney Quilts.

This block is a great addition to this quilt along.  What would we do without our precious bolts of fabric?

One of the other participants got the idea to tilt one of the bolts, and I really liked the idea.

So I decided to tilt one of my bolts.

Sometimes ( a lot of times) I simply have to laugh at myself.

Do you see something wrong with this picture?

I cannot believe that I didn’t notice until after I took this photo!

Really?

I will be getting together with Jack the Ripper and remaking a part of this block!

I really don’t have floating bolts of fabric on my shelves.  Do you?
