I settled on a star layout for the half-square triangles made from the 1990’s charm squares.
I don’t have a large wall, or the floor space, to lay out blocks, but we all make do with what we do have.
The stars are set with squares and this was simple to stitch up.
I had enough parts left over (including the odd sized half-square that I threw in the parts department and retrieved) to make two more star blocks for the back.
All marked and pinned.
I have chosen to do easy cross-hatching with a walking foot.
Nothing fancy to see here.
Have fun and carry on!

Slam dunk and done (pieced) in record time. I am impressed with how ‘non-90s-novelty’ the final top looks. The froggie is so cute, though. BTW: I spy some cheddar on the design wall – leftover bowtie blocks from a few years ago?

You are sharp! Yes…that leftover has been there quite a while. I suppose I really should do something with it. I just like looking at it. Ha, ha! 🙂

It took me a few secs to see the star pattern. Loving how this turned out. It really has the midnight sky look – awesome 90’s save on this 🌟

Thank you Sharon. It is hard to see the stars, but it came together nicely. 🙂

That is a really pretty layout, Laura! I like the blue squares with lighter star parts in between them. Way to go, using those older pieces that you weren’t so fond of and turning them into something great!

I would have the quilting done, too, if it weren’t for the Super Bowl and the Olympics. Ha, ha! It isn’t all that large of a project. 🙂

That went together fast – in my book – as I sit and think and sewed nothing today!

Pretty blues! You cooked that one up pretty quick, once you set your mind to it!
