HQAL July 2025

I lost a day.

I thought today was Saturday and I would have time for a few more stitches and write a HQAL (hand quilt stitch along) post.

Oops.

Needless to say, I haven’t accomplished much in the stitching department.

A reminder of where I was three weeks ago:

I really wanted this block finished, but here is my progress as of today:

Maybe others have managed more progress than I have! Check them out! I am going to.

Hand Quilt Along Links

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another. If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

Have fun and carry on!

  1. Hi Laura, boy do I know about getting my days mixed up 🙂 But you got a bit of progress and as we say progress is progress. Those singing bees are awfully cute!

  2. Your not the only one that gets days mixed up,I wished my daughter a happy birthday this year on the wrong day🙃
You know bees do sing rather loud, I was out hanging up wash close to a mimosa tree that was in full bloom.. those bees were truly singing loud!
    Nice progress.👍

    • I also listen to the bees when I am out in the yard. Collectively, they really are noisy, but I enjoy listening to them.

I laughed when I saw that you wished your daughter a happy birthday on the wrong day. I laughed because I can identify. Why do retired people need to know what day it is? Maybe this is why. Ha, ha! 🙂

  3. Some months are like that. You’ll catch up some time when there is less going on.
