I finished the teapot cozies for my sister last month, but I forgot to post about them.
To refresh your memories, I posted here that one of my sisters requested 7 tea cozies. I worked up a prototype for her, delivered it, and found that I only needed to make one minor adjustment to the fit.
All 7 tea cozies (plus the prototype) are finished.
My Sis needs to add pretty ribbons to replace my household string closures, and then she can gift them to her friends.
These are special friends.
You see, my Sis is a published writer. She and these friends have been collaborating on a book series called ‘Wild Rose Ridge’.
That is why I had to use fabrics with roses for the tea cozies.
If you would like to know more about this series, or perhaps her other books, you can find them on her website, LIVING IN HEROIC FAITH.
Have fun and carry on!

Great job, Laura–seven of them!!! I’ll definitely be checking out your sister’s website/books, too!

I love the connection between you as sisters collaborating in each your own creative specialties to support one another! Froggy looks happy in his cozy!

We collaborate at Christmas as well. There are five sisters altogether, and we give each other personal handmade gifts. We like this so much better than when we were shopping for each other. 🙂

Very nice of you to make those for her. So interesting that she has so many friends who have teapots and can use them.

She is one outgoing cookie; not like me at all! Ha, ha! She has a couple of very close-knit groups of friends. 🙂

That is so fun in so many ways: that your sister asked you, that you did it, that she is an author, and that she has friends in on the project!
