Checkerboard Rails Update

I stated in a previous post that I wanted to use up some of my hand dyed fabric, and I chose Bonnie Hunter’s Checkerboard Rails pattern to do it.

I had gotten this far:

Since then, I have made 142 blocks (assuming I counted right).

I can’t show the entire layout, since my wall space isn’t big enough, but you get the idea where I am going with this.

    That’s so pretty! I love the rainbow of rails combined with all that black and white. Do you have all the blocks made?

      All of the blocks are made, Diann, unless I decide that I need a bigger quilt, but this will be big enough I think. The blocks are 6.5″ unfinished. 🙂

    I love the combination of hand dyes and the BW checkerboard and the on point setting really kicks it up a few notches.
