Hubby and I recently took a trip to Yellowstone National Park. I took a whole lot of photos (editing and choosing what to post took some time), so this will be a picture heavy post. I am devoting this post to the animals.
Enjoy!

Lovely respite from what’s going on around us…

Thank you for letting me know, Laura! That last photo just might be my favorite, too. I think I fixed the link. 🙂
And it was a better than lovely respite for me! I really needed a vacation…the toughest quarter of the year is coming up so far as work is concerned. I am already scheduled to work 44 hours next week…hopefully it doesn’t go up any more than that!

Not to sound like a copy-cat, but it definitely is my fav…people don’t realize how huge swans are, how hefty they are and that photo shows that with a touch of grace!
😎
I hope for you a smooth entry into your upcoming tough quarter.

I’m glad you had such a special break. It must be amazing to see all those animals in such beautiful country. I hope the memory of the trip and the benefits of having a holiday keep you going through the busiest season of your working year.

I know, Donna! I am so blessed to have made several trips to Yellowstone. More posts to follow…you will definitely want to keep this on your bucket list! 🙂
My best tip for you (besides remembering your camera, batteries, etc.) is to get up early if you have a specific (popular) sight to see…especially if you are in the park during peak season (I don’t recommend if you can help it).

You had some great weather, the sunlight on some of these shots is just amazing…only in October. I’m glad you had the chance to get away to somewhere special before the craziness starts for you at work!

You are sharp, Kathy! Most of the photos were captured in either early morning or evening light. These are the best times to see the animals, and the light is a bonus!
Thank you for your kind words! 🙂
