A small amount of hand work happened on the Farm Girl stitchery since last Sunday.
Good thing that there is no hurry. Or what would be the point to a relaxing slow Sunday?
I plan on a slow Sunday drive today, so may not stitch. Sometimes one just needs to get out and enjoy the view.
Meanwhile…remember this?
I haven’t forgotten either.
So in spite of the heat and the day job, I have been working on free motion quilting.
I hope to finish this project soon. I’ll show better photos then.
Are you slow stitching today? Need inspiration?
Check out the link up at Slow Sunday Stitching! There are lots of fun projects by like minded stitchers to see!
Stay healthy! Stay safe!

Sounds like that drive might include photos. Enjoy!

No stitching for me today, either, Roseanne, but it was a great day anyway! 🙂 I hope yours was, too!

I agree about slow stitching, it should be all about relaxation. I don’t get as much sewing done as I used to but this house has enough quilts and now it’s just something to enjoy!

Thank you, Carla! I don’t get nearly as much stitching done as I would like, but what I do get done, I enjoy! 🙂

I’m realizing anything having to do with quilting, stitching, sewing in general is actually ‘slow stitching’ for me…I’m a turtle! But I do enjoy ‘process’ especially if I don’t compare my progress/completion with anyone else!
HA!
Oh and I’m thrilled to see that lime green sewing machine quilt back up on your project table!!!!
Have a restful Sunday slow stitching in the sunshine – maybe indulging in a few sips of Chardonnay from time to time.

We are sister turtles, Laura! But that is okay, so long as we are enjoying our creative play!
Compare myself to others? Nah…I don’t do that. Snort!
If I could stop myself from free motion quilting every stinkin’ inch…that lime green sewing machine quilt would be finished by now.
Tonight, the wine of choice is Zinfandel. 🙂
