My sewing goals for August are the same as they were for July.
I am keeping it simple, since I am working six days a week; split shifts. I can do things between shifts, but when evening comes, all I want to do is be a couch potato!
I will be piecing three 5 inch blocks for the Squared Away Sampler project. You can see my progress so far this year by clicking here.
I want to complete six more fabric pages of my President’s book. I made good progress last month, and I am sure I can do the same in August. I really want to get this project finished, but it is still a snail’s pace for me.
On Ringo Lake still awaits squaring up and binding. Not a goal, but a bonus…maybe I can get the quilt squared up this month.
Like much of the country, my home climate has been hot, hot, hot. It is very difficult to keep the garden green. I do have pics that I haven’t shared yet, so here are a few to enjoy:
I am linking up with Elm Street Quilts OMG (One Monthly Goal). Check out the other participants and get motivated!
