I will not be carrying this project into the new year! Bats and Boos is done!
A few close ups of the free motion quilting:
I did not use a walking foot for the lines. I used a free motion foot and a ruler. I find that easier and faster (though not necessarily neater).
The backing is a novelty print that I have had in my stash for some time.
The white corner is my label. I still need to write on it.
