Thanks to Kathy, I have been motivated to get these blocks embroidered.  If you click on the link, you can check out the projects that others are working on!

Maybe you’ll be motivated to work on a project that has been sitting around just waiting for some slow stitching, too!

“I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion.” – Henry David Thoreau

“Each year, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He’s gotta pick this one. He’s got to. I don’t see how a pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one. You can look around and there’s not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see.”
– Charles M. Schulz

“October, baptize me with leaves! Swaddle me in corduroy and nurse me with split pea soup. October, tuck tiny candy bars in my pockets and carve my smile into a thousand pumpkins. O autumn! O teakettle! O grace!”
– Rainbow Rowell

While I enjoy these splendid Autumn days, I am slowly making progress on the Aunt Bea’s Parlor embroidery blocks.

Block 18 is finished!

Along with stitching on Block 19 today, I am going to plant a few bulbs in the garden.

That is an interesting thought to ponder…planting hope while the leaves are falling.
