Charms from the 90’s Finish 2

Remember this photo?

Bonnie Hunter Silk Path Pattern

As long as I was cutting for Silk Path, I cut enough of the those charm squares from the 90’s to make 20 half-square triangles (HRTs).

I’ve had these 20 HRTs on the design board and arranged every which way.

After sewing, I realized that I had used this star in the previous 90s charm square quilt. I guess I like it! Ha, ha!

This little quilt is about 19″ square.

Fun to bust out a quick little project and use up these oldie, but goodie charm squares!

This finished project is headed for the gift box.

Charms from the 90’s Finish

90's Charm Squares

I took those old 1990’s charms and finally made a quilt with them!

The quilt is about 42 inches by 52 inches. No particular reason for this size, except for the size, number and layout of the blocks that I ended up with.

90's Charm Squares

The quilt was machine quilted on my domestic Janome.

Some of the quilting was done with a walking foot, and some by free motion.

I like how it turned out!

I might be motivated to play with some more of these 1990’s charm squares and move them out!

How about you?

Do you have old charms that you were inspired to use? If so, what did you make?

Have fun and carry on!
