I did not post updates of my slow stitching project last Sunday because I was blessed to spend the entire day with family!
So happy!
I do have an update for you, however.
I have completed stitching the alphabet letters!
Here is a last look at the letters before washing and pressing:

And here is a look at the washed and pressed letters:

I shall be cutting the letters apart and then I shall have to decide if I still want to make pincushions, like Jenny did, or make a wall hanging with them.
There is no hurry to make the decision, since I have a free motion quilting project currently under the needle. I don’t want to set up the sewing machine for another project until I finish the quilt that I am working on (it has just been too hot to work on it).
I have already chosen another hand stitching project, and I will be working on it this Sunday.
The project is called Farm Girl, and comes from Australian Country Threads magazine Volume 5 Number 11…January 2006.

I already have a certain someone in mind to gift this project to when I am finished! She is a born and raised farm girl, so I think she will love this!

Are you slow stitching today? Need inspiration?
Check out the link up at Slow Sunday Stitching! There are lots of fun projects by like minded stitchers to see!
Stay healthy! Stay safe!
