It has been three weeks and it is time to share my HQAL progress.

First, a reminder of where I was three weeks ago.

I have completed my 4th block in this project. There are nine blocks total.

The fifth block is ready to stitch and should be a quick one to stitch, too.

Which is just right for summer!

The Magical Unicorn Update

I am not the greatest quilter in the world, so when it comes to backing, I choose a busy print.

I couldn’t find anything that I wanted to use in my stash.

No matter how big and varied the stash is, it is never right for the current project.

I had no intention of shopping and I had an ombre fabric in the stash.

Solid. Shows every boo-boo.

I went with it anyway.

The sister quilt isn’t started yet. I’ve got a couple of graduations and a garden to attend to, but it is on the radar. I will probably quilt it much the same so that I don’t have to think about how to quilt it (a huge procrastinating road block of mine).
