June OMG Goal 2019

Aunt Bea's Parlor

Last month, I took the Aunt Bea’s Parlor project out of the closet and added the borders.

The goal this month was to create a backing for it.

I don’t have a photo, but I already pieced the backing.

So I decided to have the pin-basting be this month’s goal.

That’s done, too.

Now my goal for June is to stitch in the ditch to stabilize the quilt sandwich.

I am linking up with Elm Street Quilts.  Check it out and join other’s in setting your own goal for June!  I find it inspiring and fun to visit bloggers and see what projects they are working on.

The following photo is for my friend, Kathy.  Unfortunately, the spider was playing ‘hide and seek’.

No worries, Kathy, I will have another spider just for you in another post.

Sew Let’s Quilt Along

I have finished the first block in Segment 2 of the Sew Let’s Quilt Along.

If you are not a quilter, then you may be wondering what the block is.

Lets Sew Quilt Along

So I have put a few binder clips on my block for you to see.  They are like clothespins.  They come in different colors and different sizes, and are handy for all sorts of crafty things.

On my block, you see orange binder clips holding the binding in place before sewing it to the quilt.

I chose the lilac fabric because it reminds me of free motion quilting and I already had it in my stash.
