One of the Hubster’s and mine favorite places to hang out in Eastsound Village was the little Eastsound Waterfront Park.

It was never crowded; most of the time we were alone…perhaps because we were there before peak tourist season? This little place is right at the edge of the village and very easy to walk to if you happen to be exploring the village. It also a great place for a picnic and watching the seaplanes come in.
The island is known as Indian Island. At low tide, there is a sandbar that can be traversed to go and explore the island and the tidepools.
The Emmanuel Episcopal Church has the prettiest gardens! The church was built in 1885 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
One must always try the ice cream from the Clever Cow Creamery! You can also purchase fudge and truffles for later!
Yum-Yum!
West Beach Resort is the place to go to view the sunset and you do not have to be a registered guest! However, the Hubster and I did camp here and it was quiet and beautiful! Again, except for the sunset crowd (which wasn’t bad at all), perhaps the quiet was due to coming at a non-peak time. There were not many campers.
This place has a lot to offer, including a small store with ice cream and espresso! What more do you need, unless it is some fishing supplies! All the amenities are here…hot tub, firewood, boat launch, etc…. I definitely recommend this resort, and I would stay here again if the opportunity ever presented itself.
While we were watching the sunset out on the dock, the full moon was rising behind us.
What a gorgeous evening!
God really blessed us!
See the world around you!
