Silk Path

I decided to move the Silk Path project forward, as long as I am in the mood to move things along, even if it is only a small movement.

I searched my own blog, and found that Bonnie Hunter’s Silk Path pattern was my choice for Karen Brown’s Declutter Challenge January 2025.

So, in fine tradition, I started it a year ago, and I am moving it forward a year later.

I left off with these two bags of strip piecing; very happy to be using up scrap stash.

Now I have 61 scrappy blocks.

True to Bonnie Hunter style, there is a lot more piecing to do.

I like what I see.

Have fun and carry on!

  4. Yikes! You are brave to do a Bonnie Hunter quilt–did you count how many pieces that will be? Oops, maybe better to count AFTER you finish 😀

    • This isn’t my first Bonnie Hunter quilt, Zippy. Having said that, I do have to take it slow. I love that her patterns use up so much scrap. I sure don’t count pieces…ever! That would be depressing for me! Ha, ha! 🤣
