Still on vacation, Laura, but I did have this post scheduled. I do think it is important to distinguish the difference between loneliness and solitude!
I have never noticed the loosestrife as being stinky. I should give it more attention next year. It is mixed in with the fireweed and phlox, and there isn’t a lot of it. Maybe that is why I don’t notice the fragrance.
