Remember this project?
I am finally working on the sister quilt!
Another ombre for the backing…shows all of the ‘oopsies’ with my machine quilting.
I hate it when I have the tension just right and then, for no reason whatsoever, the tension switches up.
It needs readjusting. But I don’t notice, since I am merrily stitching away thinking that all is well in bobbin land.
I don’t pick it out unless it is really bad.
A perfectionist, I am not.
I still have the flowers, the rainbow, and the sky to quilt.
Getting there.

Your choice of swirl-quilting makes the unicorn more ‘girlie’…how appropriate! The orange ombre backing – and yes stand alone quilting – is stunning!

These two wall hangings are gifted to a couple of girls, so the more glittery and swirly I can make it, the better. Thank you, Laura! 🙂

I looked and ai didn’t find your tension troubles, so it must be pretty low key! Love the bright, clear colors of this!

I think the quilting looks great, and since it is a wall hanging the tension on the back matters much less…hooray for that. You made great progress.

So delightful with brilliant colors, and I don’t see tension problems…. So if you’re happy with what you have done then I’d say that’s perfect.
