I have been stalking the members of this hand quilt along group for quite a while.
I decided the time was right to ask to join, and this is my first post!
Thank you, Ladies, for your inspiration while I was stalking you!
Beez By Tricia Cribbs 2008
I have wanted to embroider these blocks for a long time, and I don’t think that I have had this pattern since 2008, but it is possible!
There are nine blocks, and I hope this cute little project helps me get back into hand embroidery. I used to enjoy it so much!
I was merrily stitching away with that dashed line, and then I noticed that the pattern is a solid line. Oops!
I ripped that out and stitched a solid beeline.
I like the dashed one better, but not enough to rip it out and put the dashed beeline back in!
Yes, indeed, I can live with it!
The pattern does not call for white eye highlights, but I am glad that I put those French knots in!
For the curious, I am using 12 weight Aurifil color number 2692.
One block finished, eight to go!
Have fun and carry on!
This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another. If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

Oh, there are lots of cute bee patterns. You are tempting me, but I am so slow at stitchin. I have several Crab Apple Hill patterns that will need my attention before I die.

Crab Apple Hill has such great designs! I totally get the ‘before I die’ thing; I am certain that not all of the patterns that I’ve collected are gonna be made before then! 🙂
