I recently made a seasonal table topper using Kathleen Tracy‘s pattern from A Prairie Journey.
I liked it so much! It was fast and it was easy to make! You can see that post by clicking here.
So I decided to make another table topper, or placemat, for the Christmas season.
Ta da!

It is hard to take a decent picture on a gray rainy day!
I know that you can’t see it, but all of the red and gold scraps have a metallic sheen to them.
I also quilted it with gold Sulky sliver thread that I have had in my stash forever (love this stuff)!
Have fun and carry on!

I love it! 🥰

Aha! It just happens that I need to start a table runner today, so your recommendation is timely–thanks!

That is a great table runner! Nice that you have it for Christmas, I always have good plans, but rarely get to them this time of year. I always loved the gold in the Christmas fabrics and great you have a metallic you like and it behaves!

Ahhh…the best laid plans, Kathleen. I am in that spot most of the time. Ha!
I tried Sulky Sliver many, many years ago and fell in love. It behaves well for me and looks great! 🙂
