I am a happy camper to have finished Hen Party before the end of the year!
I posted links to previous posts about this project (and close up pics of the hens) at the bottom of this post. You can revisit (or visit for the first time) the progress if you want to by clicking on those links.
It is a dark photo, but you can see what the back looks like. Good thing you can’t examine close up, however! I can never seem to get a pieced backing on straight!

It has been a struggle. I had to get a new computer. Transferring and getting everything ‘just so’ to the new pc has been confusing and stressful, but I am learning my way around. My old pc and I were such good friends, and I am sad to say goodbye! Hello to Windows 11 and OneDrive!
I have questions! But I am blessed! Tomorrow, (which will be today by the time this posts) the Hubster and I are driving to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday with our son and his wonderful family.
You know how I am going to get my questions answered! Oh yes! Son is going to help me and my new pc get much better acquainted!

Hen Party is adorable! I think your quilting looks wonderful. Congratulations on the finish! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and good luck with the new computer. Sons are always helpful with technology!

Okay, those hens are really cute and well executed and all – but – your quilting is what takes it over the top! I am always impressed with how your humble home machine quilting achieves such quality results (and with your patience in doing it all!)

Hen Party is fabulous! I love the quilting you did on it, and the back looks straight from here. It’s funny, I fuss and want perfection on the back and it is rarely if ever seen…except maybe some bed quilts when unmade! Happy Thanksgiving to you and I do hope your son gets you happy with your PC. They are always changing things…drives me nuts.

I think Hen party has to be one of my favorite quits for the year and would be a great county fair contender for a 1st place ribbon in my book. It’s after TG and I am sure you had a wonderful visit and mastered that new pc too ~ what would we do without our kids for tech support!
