Stash Busters 2022 Challenge Completed

I posted about the Stash Buster Challenge on February 03, 2022.

It has marinated long enough.

I decided to quilt an edge to edge design as opposed to custom quilting. I don’t think that it needs to be too fancy since it is destined to be used as a table topper.

The topper is about 48″ square.

It feels great to have it off of the hangar and finished!

I have someone in mind who will be receiving this as a gift. She is a very generous lady and I really appreciate her!

  1. I can’t imagine the patience required to craft a pattern like that over something so big. You have my respect! It looks beautiful too 😊

  5. Pink is not my fav color, but against the dark fabric (espresso perhaps?) it appeals to my sensibilities.
Laura, your friend will love this!

    • I have never liked pink, Laura. It has grown on me to some extent. I once worked for an elderly lady who pointed out that pink was in magnificent sunsets…in other words, a very wonderful color in the wheel. She’s right, of course, but I will never wear it or decorate my home with it. In that respect, I am not a chip off the old block, since the fam just painted my Mom’s home all in pink and red. Ha, ha! The dark fabric is black by the way, but I would prefer espresso. 🙂
