Hen Party

When the Hen Party pattern designed by Sindy Rodenmayer of FatCat Patterns first came out, it was offered as a free block of the month.

Hen Party

I collected all of the block patterns to make for someday.

Someday has come, and I am having fun making these funky chicken blocks!

Hen Party

There are 10 blocks total, and I have 3 fused so far.

Hen Party

I will get all 10 blocks fused, and then work on stitching the applique to the background.

Hen Party

No hurry. Just having a cheery little summer project.

I hope it makes you smile, as it does me!

  7. Such a cute project – I am excited to see this come together 🙂 BTW have you thought about joining the hand quilting HQAL that Kathy hosts? Your work is amazing and it would be fun to have you join in 🙂 (just a thought)

    • Every Sunday, I think about it Sharon! The temptation has been very hard. I am not so good at regular posting…I seem to go in spurts. Ha! I definitely see the value in motivation and encouragement, however. I might step up one of these days. I am really flattered to be asked. You are the second one to ask me. I am listening. 🙂
