Christmas Lone Star

It is finished!

Christmas Lone Star

What a great feeling to have this old UFO completed and out of the sewing room!

For those who are curious, the quilt is about 68″ square.

It is difficult to photograph the quilting and the texture, but I tried.

More of that texture will be seen when I have washed the quilt.

  1. WOW that is the same fabric I used – Robyn Pandolph’s Christmas fabric in late 1999 or 2000 and Nancy Odom fabrics from Azalea Trail My quit was made in 2004 (first pieced one) and is at Rebecca’s for quilting. It is a beautiful selection of fabrics! Hugs!

  3. Laura, this is an heirloom quality quilt. Not only in workmanship (all the quilting details – wow) but in choice of design & fabrics (bless those oldies!) – a non-commercially driven holiday theme, grounded with a traditional pattern (that huge Texas Star). Wow!
Will it be on display year-round?
