More dark blocks was the requirement for the 365 Challenge in August.
I am patting myself on the back because I am still on track with this project! No falling behind!
Whew!
For previous updates:
January completed blocks.

A reminder of what this flimsy looks like so far:
I am linking up with Elm Street Quilts OMG. Hop on over there and be inspired by the other goal setters that have linked up! It is inspiring and encouraging!
Quilt On!

That quilt will be a monster when it’s done!

Yeah, and I don’t even have a king bed (or a queen, either)! Ha, ha! 🙂

WOW. Beautiful. How large are the blocks and how large will the quilt be? I would not want to quilt it – LOL, but it is a beauty and cud’s to you or hanging in there and doing 365 blocks – 3/4’s finished! Hugs

Most blocks are 3.5″ unfinished. There are 6.5″ unfinished blocks sprinkled in the mix, and there will be 12.5″ corner blocks coming soon. I don’t know how big this quilt will be since I strayed a bit from the original and am adding sashing.
I have been motivating myself by reminding myself (every time that I am working on this) that I am over halfway! 🙂

Amazing work here Laura, what a great reminder of your first year of retirement. Do you have a large wall that needs “something.” This might be it!

That is a great idea, Kathy, but no large walls in my little house. I do have a full size bed, so that is where it will go. 🙂
