BTW: some of these flowers remind me of scabiosa…I know they’re not, but the lacey but structured look and bluish colors remind me. Once scabiosas are established in a garden, they clump nicely and flower forever. At least in Colorado where I had a few in my garden there.

Scabiosa aka pincushion plant…I had this several years ago. I don’t know what happened to it, a hard winter perhaps, or deer, or drought? I should try again. 😉
