In this post, I stated a goal that I want to achieve this year; a goal that has nothing to do with sewing or embroidery.
I shared that I intend to organize hundreds of Hawaii vacation photos from 2016 and make a memory photo book.
Progress is slow; I sort through a few at a time, and they need editing. It is okay to be slow…I am moving the project forward.
In the comments, some of you also said that you had non-sewing/embroidery goals.
Are you moving forward with your goals; even if it is slow?
Tell me your progress in the comment section. I really do enjoy hearing from you!
Carry On!

I’m sure it’s fun to look through those photos again while your work toward your goal. Non-sewing goals here is getting one room cleaned out so we can do some room shifting in preparation for some renovation. Not my favorite task, but necessary.

Cleaning out is not my favorite task, either, but I love the results. Cleaning out forces me to sort and ask myself if I really need all of this stuff or can I do without and make better use of the space? I am currently helping a sister to do just that with her condo. It will be wonderful to have a clean and organized space!
A renovation can be messy, but exciting, too! 🙂

Enjoy your photo project Laura, savor the memories! My non sewing project is taxes….not my favorite, but this week I have logged the receipts and mileage, so that is progress. Next up, checking email for any online purchases and pulling the internet bills. I might be ready to do the business forms by this weekend. I am way ahead of where I was last year, so things are looking up!

Always good not to procrastinate, Kathy. You will have your paperwork done soon, and can move on to fun stuff. I should be so organized! Once upon a time I was, and I hope to get things under control around here this year. 🙂

You will have everything ship shape in a matter of months Laura, and still have lots of fun on the side!

Hi Laura! Oh, the luau was fun, wasn’t it?! I recall the meal as being delicious and the entertainment fabulous. We enjoyed a similar luau in New Zealand, too, with the Maori tribe hosting. The traditional dancing is fab. Speed doesn’t matter – moving forward is what counts! Great job. {{Hugs}} a bunch. ~smile~ Roseanne

Oh yes…the luau was a blast! This vacation was definitely fabulous, so it is long past time to make a book of it!
I have never been to New Zealand…that would be a great trip, too! 🙂

Lots of other projects, but no time for them right now. Your project is like taking the vacation again.

Much to do, and not enough time. I get it. 🙂

When we moved in 2017, I took all my photos out of albums, and they are not yet organized. I really should do this!

It will take time for sure, but it will be worth it! 🙂

I’m glad you are making steady progress on your non-sewing goal. I haven’t made a start on my photos yet. I need to break my goal down into bite-size pieces. At the moment it seems a huge, overwhelming task.

I know what you mean, Allison. I am doing bite sized pieces, too…no deadline, except to get it done this year. 🙂
