I was chatting with my Mom today, and she pointed out that I have been neglecting my blog.
I know.
I have been working and weeding. And I hope to have 2 finished quilts soon.
But this afternoon, I grabbed my camera.
So Mom…this post is for you.
I love you!

“Motherhood is the biggest gamble in the world. It is the glorious life force. It’s huge and scary – it’s an act of infinite optimism.” —Gilda Radner
“A mother understands what a child does not say.” —Jewish proverb
I bought a macro lens for myself.
I don’t know the first thing about it, but I practiced with it today.
“A mother’s hug lasts long after she lets go.” —Unknown
“Mother’s love is peace. It need not be acquired, it need not be deserved.” —Erich Fromm
“A mother’s love is everything. It is what brings a child into this world. It is what molds their entire being. When a mother sees her child in danger, she is literally capable of anything. Mothers have lifted cars off of their children and destroyed entire dynasties. A mother’s love is the strongest energy known to man.” —Jamie McGuire

Beautiful post, Laurie. Your garden is gorgeous! And I loved the Mom quotes in it, too. Bet Mom was pretty excited to see it. I know I was, and I’m not even your Mom!! 😍

Thank you, Margaret. I am not getting the hang of the macro lens, so I have set it aside for now. I definitely need practice! I am also going to seek some help. Google is my friend. 🙂
