Floral Reflections Update

My version of the Floral Reflections pattern now has borders and has become a flimsy!

I am so happy to have another very old UFO make it to this stage!

It is approximately 58″ x 72″.

My corner squares are not crooked; it is simply the way the flimsy is hanging that makes them look as if they are not straight.

I do, however, have points cut off from the nine patches in the borders.  Oops!

But they are consistent, and I am okay with that!

    Oh Laura! I’m not partial to applique type quilts in general (tho I appreciate all the work involved) but this one talks to me! The subtle purple preference shown in the borders is part of its allure for me, too.
    Plus it’s an almost ‘finish’ for you and something you can tic-off on that list of to-finish goals sooner than later.

    That pieced border just sets it off beautifully! You are cranking through the UFO’s this year, congratulations! Your shelves and boxes must be showing the difference now!

    Oh! I do like that border. It’s a beautiful frame for all the blocks and draws them all together too. Don’t leave it too long before quilting it!

      Thank you, Allison! I have two scrap quilts that I want to make for gifts, so it will be a while before any quilting gets done. I guess that gives me time to think on it. 🙂
