My version of Temecula Quilt Company’s Tiny Tree is finished!
My last update was posted on December 20, 2019. I didn’t finish in time for Christmas, but I will have it displayed next Christmas.
Somehow, I managed to cut off the point of one side of the tree. So I made an executive decision to cut off the other side.
I am not telling anyone, so who is to know that this isn’t the way it is supposed to be?
In fact, it is just the way that it is supposed to be for me. And that is all that matters.
I like my tiny tree.
And I really like it embellished with a few buttons!
Quilt on! Forget about perfection, and celebrate your creativity!

The Santa button at the top is adorable! Your are just tearing through the finishes.

I am trying to keep a balance between large UFO projects and new small projects. However, I do chase squirrels…I took time out to cut pieces for two large quilts, and I am having a hard time sticking to my list and not dropping everything to stitch these. Ha, ha!

I considered making about 25 tiny trees (don’t laugh) and turning it into a bed quilt. But I haven’t cut the first piece yet.

Those ‘clipped’ corners of the tree make it look more artistic, IMHO.

Hi Laura! This is just perfect the way you made it . . . and I’d say you are ready for Christmas in 311 days. I like being prepared early, too. ~smile~ Roseanne
