My internet friend, Kathy (you know who you are), just might mistakenly believe that I live in an arboretum, or a botanical park.
So this is a get real post just for you, Kathy!
The following are photos of my garden. Some deadheading happened, so there isn’t much to see.
For comparison, here are spring photos:
The last photo is the future vegetable garden. I don’t have a photo of the current one, but it is way overgrown with weeds now, anyway. The garden is being moved to where water is more accessible.
And no…there isn’t a lot of level ground to work with here. Sigh.
Now you know. And so does the world. LOL!

Lovely and peaceful yet rustic.
Just wondering: did you lay the path yourself or was it already there when you acquired your property?

Laura, the path was laid by my husband using a mold and cement. It was backbreaking. I used to grow thyme and moss between the stones. It looked fantastic and was fun to walk on until the weeds came back. Not so fun then. 🙂

Lovely to see the long shots of the beds of the flower garden … would love to wander down the path right now with a coffee in hand.

Oh Laura that pathway is incredible! The bench looks so inviting, especially in that spring photo, I would be sitting out there watching the sky change as the sun comes up! ❤️❤️

Thank you, Kathy! The bench offers a view of mountains into Canada. I am about a half hour from the border. 🙂

The meandering paths, the bench set with a view and all the healthy looking plants… your garden looks great. That shot of all the flowers in Spring is so colourful. My very little garden is looking refreshed after a much needed day of rain. The grass has stayed green this year (last summer it turned completely brown) but hasn’t grown for weeks. Maybe now it will get going again – along with the weeds lol!

My grass is turning brown…I don’t have enough water for it, and we are in desperate need of rain! If you have any to spare, send it my way please!
