When do you find time to plant the flowers! They are so pretty!

For the most part, I plant perennials. In other words, I plant what will come up year after year, Nanette. I do fill in with a few annuals, but I try to keep maintenance down to feeding, weeding, and pruning; not a lot of planting unless a perennial dies off or needs splitting.
And I need the color! 🙂
You have a great holiday, too!

Thank you, Kathy! I believe you are actually seeing an ant in that photo. Click on it so that you can see it better. I’ve got a lot of ants around here. I even found a nest in my mailbox! Ugh!

Time to go get my glasses!

I would be lost without mine! Actually, I prefer my reading glasses to my prescription glasses. I have reading glasses in the car, by the sewing machine, by the computer, by the reading chair…. Ha, ha!

I have progressive trifocals, but they are custom set for where I hold books and handwork, and for reading at the piano/computer/sewing machine. I read that advice 5 years ago, and it made the transition from regular to trifocals so much better.
