Sew Let’s Quilt Along Segment 1 Wrap Up

I have finished Block 5 of Segment 1 of the Sew Let’s Quilt Along QAL.

As with the other blocks, the instructions are well written and easy to follow.

I have not embellished my quilt shop block because I am undecided as to what I would like to do, and how I want to do it.  To embroider, or to use a fabric pen?  Where to put a kitty…maybe peeking from behind a potted plant?  Hmmmmmmm.

To wrap up Segment 1, participants are asked to show a photo of our five blocks together.

I like seeing them together…this has been a fun project for me, and I appreciate the designers making it so!  They are doing a wonderful job!

    Hi Laura! I love the green theme that you have running through each of the blocks. Now are you going to piece this into something or continue on to the next section? These are certainly very fun blocks! ~smile~ Roseanne

      Roseanne, I am having so much fun with this project, so I definitely am going to continue on to the next segment, rather than piece these blocks into a small hanging, or a table runner, or whatever. I am in a wait and see mode before even thinking about the end result. 🙂
      I had intended to tie it together with the snippets of orange, but green is definitely coming out on top. Ha, ha!
