Orange and brown are the colors of the month announced by So Scrappy and The Academic Quilter.
I am making three blocks a month, and I’ve chosen the 5 inch size to use for the Squared Away Sampler project.

I guess I didn’t hear that brown part, because I am now noticing that I didn’t use it.

I am sure glad that orange came to the party! I wasn’t so sure that my stand out red block was going to be able to play, but she has brought her friends!

I like your orange blocks a lot! I didn’t use any brown in mine either, and I like them just as much without it!

I didn’t go with the brown either – orange is one of my favorite colors to play with, so I was quite happy to stick with just it!

Orange is also one of my favorite colors, Gayle, so I am not too sorry about not playing with the brown. 🙂

All the colours are friends and can play together in a Rainbow Scrap Challenge quilt! I’m doing the 5″ size too and thinking about continuing into next year because it’s SO MUCH FUN!
