The Rainbow Scrap colors for May are rose and pink.
I am having fun participating in the Squared Away Sampler project. Here are my three 5″ unfinished Baton Rouge blocks:

Your garden is so pretty! I’ve been working in my yard, too, and though I can see the difference, it’s been much neglected over the past few years, so it’s still looking sad. Yours is great inspiration to get back out there, even if it means the inspiration of all the beautiful quilt blocks is put on hold.

Katie, I neglected mine for a couple of years, too. Since gardening does bring me joy, I made up my mind not to let the demands of my life interfere with gardening. Gardening improves my mental and physical health, as does sewing, so I know that it is a necessity to make the time for it. Take care of yourself; it really is an important thing to do! I am happy if I have inspired you!

Lovely fabric selection in your blocks. I love your garden; it’s really my kind of garden but unfortunately i only have a balcony (with a weight restriction) nowadays.

Thank you, Marly! I am a firm believer in parks, and green spaces, just for this reason. So many are unable to have access to their own area to plant grass, or flowers, or vegetables. The parks and green spaces provide for that need for them.

Monica, I like most blocks set on point, but at this time, I don’t know if I will actually set them in a quilt this way. So far, I am liking them on point.
