So Scrappy announced the Rainbow Scrap colors of the month as yellow and gold.

I am having fun participating in the Squared Away Sampler project. Here are my three 5″ unfinished blocks:

And all of my blocks so far:

I will be linking up with So Scrappy; see how others have gone yellow and gold this month!

If you would like to participate in the RSC18 Squared Away Sampler project, click on the link to read all about it. You can also visit The Academic Quilter for great tutorials on making the blocks. No need to make the 5″ block size that I am making. Perhaps you want to make a 20″ block or something in between!

Learn about a variety of blocks, use those scraps and have fun!

Ha, ha! Good thing you can’t see the blocks close-up, Mari! They aren’t that precise, but they are fun. I am really liking this project!

These are so pretty, Laura! I usually like blues but this yellow block is my favorite so far!
