Winter in the Backyard

I live in the shadow of a mountain, so it takes a while for the sun to shine on my home.  The above photo is what my backyard looked like this morning.

The next photo shows the sunrise from the front of my home.  You can also see part of my driveway.

I am not a photographer, so having light and shadow is a difficult shot for me.

I wanted to show a UFO that I have been diligently working on.  I guess I haven’t been diligent enough, but it is getting close.
