Hubby’s Walk in the Garden

“It was such a spring day as breathes into a man an ineffable yearning, a painful sweetness, a longing that makes him stand motionless, looking at the leaves or grass, and fling out his arms to embrace he knows not what.”
–  John Galsworthy

Hubby took his little pocket camera out to the garden and I thought I would share a few of his finds with you.

Toad

This little fella was very willing to pose.

He is only about 2 inches in size, and oh, so cute!

Lots of his friends and relatives live here, and I am happy to see them!

These photos are all of the same little guy; I just couldn’t decide which pose to share, so I’m sharing several.

All things seem possible in May.”

The next photo looks like Autumn, but it is indeed a red maple in spring.

The peonies are showing a gorgeous blush!

And the bees are happily buzzing and gathering around the allium.

“Green is the fresh emblem of well founded hopes.  In blue the spirit can wander, but in green it can rest.”
