Alaska Harbor Dinner Cruise

A harbor seal led our dinner cruise.  What fun to follow him (or was it a her) for the beginning of our 3-1/2 hour cruise around the harbor!

While in Alaska, our daughter and son-in-law treated us to a dinner cruise hosted by Marty and Marion, of the Galley Gourmet, from St. Paul Harbor in Kodiak, Alaska.

I highly recommend this cruise!  Marty is the former harbor master and Marion is a master gardener, chef, author and photographer.  They offer wonderful hospitality, not only in great-tasting food, but also in wildlife viewing, and entertaining (and knowledgeable stories) aboard their beautiful craft, the Sea Breeze.

The photos were taken by myself, my Hubby, and my daughter.

Enjoy the show!

Denali Park

For those of you who are interested in my trip to Alaska, here is a slideshow of more photos, as promised.

You are looking at my visit to Denali Park.  I was blessed with a gorgeous day for the visit!

Hubby and I saw golden eagle, moose, ptarmigan, Dall sheep, bear, caribou, small critters, and fabulous scenery.  Nobody creates and designs like the great God above!

July OMG 2017 Goal

The UFO goal for July was announced by Judy, at Patchwork Times.

This month, the #12 was chosen.  My #12 is the blocks that quilt guild members made for me when I served as the guild president.

President's Blocks

I served as President of the Colville Piecemakers Quilt Guild 1999-2001.  I have thirty six signed blocks given to me when my term was up.

President's Blocks

My goal for this month is to come up with a plan to put these blocks together.  I don’t expect to get beyond the planning stage, since summer is a busy time, but having a plan is good progress.

I am linking up with Elm Street Quilts for One Monthly Goal (OMG).  Head on over to see what everyone else is doing!
