April 2022 OMG

My main April sewing goal is to complete all of April’s 365 Challenge blocks…I am doing my best not to fall behind with the project!

January completed blocks.

February completed blocks.

March completed blocks.

The great news is that Betty Boop is home! We have a lot to catch up on (she is my only machine that can sew decorative stitches)!

Birdhouse Wall Hanging

It seems that the last time that I showed the Birdhouse UFO was back in October of 2020. Remember it? The only reason that I remember it is because I left it on the design wall instead of burying it back in a basket.

The plan is to stitch all of the applique down this month. The birdhouse was hand stitched forever ago, and I have begun to stitch the rest with Betty Boop’s help.

Another February 2022 OMG Update

I know that it is March, but since I made an unplanned trip to visit family in February, I did not meet my OMG goal.

Since coming home, I have been playing the catch up game. So, while I still don’t have my daughter’s patriotic quilt basted, I do have my February 365 Challenge blocks finished.

The center block is also finished.

Onward to March!

February 2022 OMG

My OMG (One Monthly Goal) is similar to January’s OMG. I completed last month, so I am moving on to working through all of February’s blocks for Kathryn Kerr’s 365 Challenge.

I have three blocks done. It looks like another month of dark blocks.

These blocks are only 3.5″ unfinished!

The blocks are my goal for the month, but I also hope to work all of the SITD (stitch-in-the-ditch) on my daughter’s patriotic quilt.

I shared about this quilt in this post.
