Tis the season to be all about Christmas, but I am determined to finish Bats and Boos before the new year. I really don’t want to carry this project over.
It is slow going, since I am too tired after the day job to want to spend time on this.
Nevertheless, progress is happening. Last time that I shared, Bats and Boos had been pin basted.
Let the quilting begin!

Some of you know that the day job has been particularly demanding this month…I have had no days off since I had one on December 3rd.
Therefore, I am not focused on Christmas.
What little energy that I have had after work, has been spent machine quilting Floral Reflections. I am determined to finish this quilt by the end of the year!
I was stumped as to how to quilt the border when I came upon this stencil design in my Electric Quilt 8 program. I think it is a design that I imported to EQ some time ago.
It worked out great!
The quilting is finished. I am on to the binding.
I just might make my self imposed deadline!

I am happy to share a finish before the end of the year!
Vintage Ornaments is now a completed quilt!
I have a few close pictures of the machine quilting for you. I have used decorative quilting, and background filler quilting (to show off the ornaments).
Except for the binding, this was a fun project! I have trouble sewing a binding on completely by machine. I need more practice…especially with the corners! If anyone has tips for me, please share! Meanwhile, I will keep practicing, and, who knows, maybe one day I will master it!
