You might not think that a cemetery would be a destination for visiting, however the picturesque Ferndale Cemetery is the most photographed historic cemetery in California.
The cemetery was established in 1868.
It is also the perfect backdrop for my daughter and I to practice a ‘ghosting’ photography technique (We need a lot more practice!).

I am going to apologize now for the not-so-sharp looking photos that I am going to share. I did not discover until long after my vacation was over that a malicious gleeful demon had changed some of my camera settings (I am positive that it couldn’t have been me!).
