Widow’s Mite – Part 5

For those of you following the progress of The Widow, I haven’t forgotten.

Spring is here, and that means that I have less time to spend sewing, blogging, etc., because time is needed out in the gardens.

Not to mention that I want to paint a couple of rooms around here.

But we are all busy.  So, without further excuse, here’s a photo of The Widow’s progress.

I found a background fabric that I really like!

Guest Post – The Promise of Tomorrow

A great reminder…You are Worthy!!! As someone has said…tomorrow may be your best day! How will you know if you aren’t there?

Sometimes the best way to get through today is to focus on tomorrow.  Everyone encounters tough times in their lives.  These tough times can be caused by a variety of circumstances:  death of a loved one, loss of a job, loss of a friendship, divorce, struggles with addiction, or financial strain.  These are all real stressors that can cause deep depression and can make today seem too difficult to bear.

Happy Easter

Easter Week

See the land, her Easter keeping,

Rises as her Maker rose.

Seeds, so long in darkness sleeping,

Burst at last from winter snows.

Earth with heaven above rejoices;

Fields and gardens hail the spring;

Shaughs and woodlands ring with voices,

While the wild birds build and sing.

You, to whom your Maker granted

Powers to those sweet birds unknown,

Use the craft by God implanted;

Use the reason not your own.

Here, while heaven and earth rejoices,

Each his Easter tribute bring-

Work of fingers, chant of voices,

Like the birds who build and sing.
