When the Hen Party pattern designed by Sindy Rodenmayer of FatCat Patterns first came out, it was offered as a free block of the month.
I collected all of the block patterns to make for someday.
Someday has come, and I am having fun making these funky chicken blocks!
There are 10 blocks total, and I have 3 fused so far.
I will get all 10 blocks fused, and then work on stitching the applique to the background.
No hurry. Just having a cheery little summer project.
I hope it makes you smile, as it does me!

The rain is gone and Hubby and I headed over to one of our favorite places to enjoy nature.
It was a glorious day!
The locust trees are in full bloom!
We visit this park frequently, and a search of Old Kettle or Kettle Falls Natural Recreation Area on this blog will show just how often!
Back home…
a photo of the barbed wire fence just because.
And the view from the back yard.
See the world around you!
