My previous progress with these owl plush stuffies showed them cut out and partially sewn.
I am happy to say that #3 (drawn in August) from my Chookshed Stitchers 2024 Challenge list is now finished!
Yes, they do stand on their own!
Each one has a weighted bag in the bottom of the toy (could have used rice, but I have a tote of BB ammo to use up).
These guys are soft and cuddly!

BB ammo, what a great idea! I love those owls, I nearly ordered a set from Connecting Threads!

Many moons ago, I made dolls and the pellets worked so well to add weight. True to self, I bought a bucket load of the pellets. Ha, ha! 🙂 The kit has a generous supply of fabric…I could probably make one, maybe two, more owls from it! 🙂
