Yes, I am behind on posting.
I have spent nearly everyday doing yardwork. Pulling weeds, pruning, transplanting, removing overgrown shrubs; that sort of thing. I don’t mind. I love to be out in the garden, but I do feel as if I am very behind in other projects.
I keep reminding myself that I am retired, that there is no behind. I am not believing it yet. But I will get there.
Back to Father’s Day.
My Dad lives about an hour away. Longer if one takes the scenic route, which is my favorite way to take a road trip.
Hubby and I chose to drive Flowery Trail Road. This scenic road will take you to 49 Degrees North Ski Resort (and here), as well as the back way to my Dad’s.
* Clicking on a photo will give you a closer look!
We had a beautiful day for a drive and a wonderful visit with Dad and two of my sisters.
Stay healthy.
Stay safe.
Keep smiling.
See the world around you!

What a beautiful drive, and the weather looks perfect!

Hmmm, your scenic drive (Photos) to your Dad’s brings to mind the song that goes something like: “Over the River and through the woods…”
😉
Looks like you’re easing into ‘retirement’ quite nicely, Laura!

I am blessed to live in this neck of the woods, Kathy! Beautiful indeed! But I have found that wherever I have lived, or visited, there is beauty to be found! 🙂
