A Small Dragon

“No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith.”
― R.A. Salvatore, Streams of Silver

A friend cherishes a bit of needlework that her mother had stitched. It was out of shape and rolled up and no one could enjoy it.

I told her that I would do something with it.

I washed the piece, and tried to block it back to shape the best that I could.

Robin's Pillow

And then I made it into a little cushion cover. The orange stripe on the back conceals a zipper.

Now everyone who visits my friend can enjoy her Mother’s handiwork and have a smile when they visit her and see the little cushion on display.

Stay healthy.

Stay safe.

Keep smiling.

  8. That was a lovely way to help a friend. The cushion cover is very cute. I like that a red dragon is proudly displayed on the Welsh flag – I always feel like I’ve arrived in a magical place when we cross the River Severn to Wales.
