My online buddy, the other Laura, posted a recipe for Cardamom Braid Bread, and I had to try this! So this post is for you, Laura!
The above photo shows the braids after the first rising, but before the second.
The milk and sugar were brushed on in the photo above, and the braids are ready for baking.
Hubby and I couldn’t wait to try this bread!
Fresh baked and smelling so good!
This recipe is not difficult to do at all! I had an enjoyable morning bread baking.
Thanks so much, Laura!

I just got on-line and saw this – wow! Thank you for the link-up and for thinking of me.
Lovely photos of your perfectly crafted Cardamom Braids! I can smell them through the internet and am thrilled you are now a fan of these as are we. BTW: with my second lump of dough I experimented and instead of braiding it, I divided it in two. One half I formed into about 4 rolls and the other half I formed into a round loaf. They baked up wonderfully! Plus, the leftover baked bread freezes and defrosts well, too.
Like you said/implied in your post, it’s a keeper!
As are you, ‘my other’ Laura!

I did freeze one of the loaves, Laura. I also thought that the next time I make this I would make rolls and experiment with the spice. 🙂
