It is time to report progress on my January OMG (One Monthly Goal).
My goal was to machine stitch in the ditch to stablilize the quilt for free motion quilting.
Mission accomplished!
You don’t see the quilting? Hmmm…here is the view from the back:
Just so you know…I did it! <Grin>

What good idea to quilt in the ditch to stabilise your quilt before FMQ. Will that be next month’s goal?

I think it should be next month’s goal, Marly. If only I wasn’t stumped as to how I want to quilt it! 🙂

You don’t see it close up, Iwona, but I sure do appreciate the compliment! I am trying to keep in mind a good quote; “Finished is better than perfect.” Finished not only means a project can be out of the closet and enjoyed, but finished also unclutters space and mind. 🙂

Agree with your comment above! Do you have a long arm or domestic?

I have a domestic, Nanette. I had a Bernina 1530 for a lotta years (I still miss her). I free motion quilted using a little Janome Gem Gold…she does surprisingly well. I now have a Janome 6500 that quilts beautifully, and I recently purchased a Juki 2010Q and a frame to quilt with. I am still learning with the frame…it is a whole new world to me and I am not comfortable with it. 🙂
